Hi,nice to meet you!

Michelle “Ky” Hanitijo (they/she) is a queer non-binary Asian dancer, creative, and filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada. They're known for their bubbly, bright and chaotic energy from their YouTube channel Ky27.

They're also known for their interdisciplinary work that combines their passion for movement direction and dance performance, and extensive professional experience as editor and choreographer. They’ve been choreographing since 2017 for local and international performances and musical artists such as Alex Porat, Devon Cole, Johnny Orlando, EuroVision and more.

She’s an active member and leader in Toronto’s street dance and Kiki Ballroom scene, and has been actively training in various street styles such as Punking/Whacking/Waacking, Locking, Popping, Vogue, House and Hip Hop, both competitively and in the battle scene. She’s currently leading her own all-styles and all-queer collective/performance team PriXm; and she is part of Toronto’s ONLY funk-style mega crew Funkyverse as a team captain as well.

As an editor-director, they're always looking to elevate their creations with open collaborations that bring together communities; bringing fresh perspectives as they transition from post to pre-production and beyond. You can find them across the internet @oneofakynd27

PS. Particularly passionate about creating music videos. Always looking for opportunities to develop their skills and gain more experience. Female/femme, queer and BIPOC/Asian production opportunities to the front!
